Every Heirloom hardcover is printed to orderand personalized to your family — your recipes, your photos, your dedication. Because each book is made just for you, we handle returns a little differently than an off-the-shelf product. Here's exactly how it works.
We stand behind the print
If your book arrives damaged, defective, or misprinted— a binding problem, printing or color error, missing or duplicated pages, or you received the wrong item — we'll make it right with a free replacement or a full refund. Just tell us within 30 days of delivery and include a photo of the issue so we can get the reprint right.
Because books are made to order
A few things we're not able to refund, since the book is custom and already printed:
- Change of mind after the book has gone to print.
- Content you approved before ordering — typos, a recipe left out, or a photo choice — since you confirm the book in the review step before checkout. Please read your proof carefully there.
- A shipping address entered incorrectly at checkout.
If any of these happen, still reach out — we'll do what we reasonably can to help, including a discounted reprint.
Canceling an order
You can cancel for a full refund any time before the book goes to print — open the order from your ordersand use “Cancel order.” Once it's sent to the printer it can no longer be canceled, but the quality guarantee above still applies.
Lost or delayed in shipping
If your tracking stalls or the package doesn't arrive, contact us — we'll track it down with our print partner and reprint or refund if it's lost in transit.
How refunds are issued
Approved refunds go back to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days depending on your bank. You don't need to ship the book back unless we ask — for a misprint, a photo is enough.
