Terms of Service

Last updated: July 18, 2026

Welcome to Heirloom. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. Please read them — they're written to be clear.

Your account

You're responsible for your account and for keeping your login secure. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your location to use Heirloom.

Your content

Your recipes, photos, and stories are yours. You keep ownership. You grant Heirloom the permission needed to store, process, display, and print your content solely to provide the service to you (for example, transcribing a card, generating a dish photo, or printing your book).

You are responsible for having the right to upload what you add. Please don't upload third-party copyrighted material — such as recipe photos or clippings from books, magazines, or brand advertisements — as if it were your own, especially anything you publish publicly.

Acceptable use

Don't use Heirloom to break the law, infringe others' rights, upload harmful or abusive content, or interfere with the service. We may remove content or suspend accounts that do.

Printed books & payments

Printed cookbooks are produced and shipped by our print partner, and payments are processed by our payment provider. Prices, shipping times, and availability are shown at checkout. Because books are printed to order, please review your proof before ordering.

Service "as is"

We work hard to make Heirloom reliable, but the service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, Heirloom isn't liable for indirect or incidental damages. Keep your own copies of anything irreplaceable.

Changes & ending

We may update these terms as the product grows; we'll post the new date above. You can stop using Heirloom and delete your account at any time.
